What happens when you scan it?
A link QR is a code with a web address (URL) written into it. When the phone camera recognizes the code, it shows the address as a notification; tapping it opens it in the default browser. No other server sits in between; the scan goes straight to your address.
If you type the address without “https://”, we'll add it. Query parameters (like ?utm_source=poster) are kept as is, so you can measure your campaigns with tools like Google Analytics.
The longer the address, the denser the QR pattern. For very long addresses, consider creating a short link first: the code gets simpler and you can change the destination later.

Where is it useful?
What do you fill in?
The fields you'll see in the generator. You can leave optional ones empty; empty fields aren't added to the code.
Ready in four steps
- 1Paste the addressPaste the link you copied from the browser's address bar into the field.
- 2Choose the designSet the color, pattern and corner style; add your logo in the center if you like.
- 3TestScan the code in the preview with your phone and make sure the right page opens.
- 4DownloadDownload PNG for screens, SVG for print.
For best results
- Always test the address with a phone before printing; a one-letter typo wastes the whole print run.
- Add utm parameters to the address to measure campaigns.
- If the destination may change later, use a short link (dynamic) instead of static.
- Write a short call to action next to the code, like “See the menu” or “Sign up”. It increases scan rates.
- Prefer HTTPS addresses; some phones show a warning for HTTP pages.
- Print the code at least 2 × 2 cm; make it bigger as scanning distance grows (about 1/10 of the distance).
- Use a dark pattern on a light background. Some phones can't read inverted codes.
- Don't crop the space around the code; the quiet zone is needed for readability.
- Send SVG to the printer; as a vector it stays sharp at any size.
- Test the final print file with at least two different phones.
FAQ
Website / Link QR
Can I change the address later?
In a static code the address is written into the code; to change it you need to print a new code. Use a free short link (dynamic QR) for addresses that may change later.
How many times can it be scanned?
Unlimited. The code is an image; it doesn't expire and the number of scans isn't limited.
Can I see scan statistics?
Scans of a static code don't go through our server, so they can't be counted. To see visit counts, use a short link or add utm parameters to your address.
